Catch Up Time

ALOT has happened in the past month. Carleigh turned 10 months old, she had her first Christmas, her first road trip to Mississippi, and her first biscuits and gravy. :)

She is quickly approaching the 11 month mark with the big 1 following quickly after. I will not discuss this turning one thing alot because I immediately get teary eyed and want to cry.

She took 4 steps on her own yesterday. 4!!!!! Does this make her officially a "walker" ? What is the protocol for that? I am not sure what the number of steps should be....

She has also discovered two more foods: Spaghetti-Os and shredded cheese. BIG HIT at our house.

We had a wonderful Christmas at home, then we went to my mom's, then Andy's parents, then came home and packed and left out Friday the 26th for Mississippi! I was already very stressed about the drive (12+ hours), but of course, as with all of our vacations, nature likes to throw us curveballs. We hit a MAJOR ice storm in the lovely state of Ohio (note the sarcasm) and it took us almost EIGHT hours to make it through that state. By far the worst driving conditions I have ever been in. We made it through Ohio and then to MS! It was lovely while we were there, warm temps and pretty days. Carleigh was an absolute trooper through those long car rides.

For now I am going to post Santa pics, and Christmas pics- I will finish this post a little later!
